I couldn't get the washer to work on the 3rd floor , so I called the front desk and the lady down there , veronica was her name I think , told me she would do my laundry down stairs for me.
Very Nice! We were in room 218 with a Jacuzzi. Next best thing to a resort and even better than the Bluegreen Resorts. It's our second time to stay here. New carpet being put in this weekend.
To the room to close all the drawers myself. Even the couch was pulled all the way up- they expected me to correct this. No big deal... I get back to the room, pull back the covers and find a dead bug. I am unsure what type of bug it was. The manager comes up to inspect it and my room is switched from 212 to 218. I get to 218, put my things away and left for most of the evening. The following morning, I discover the toilet is stopped up. I called the front desk at 8am to let them know. I waited to shower because I didn't want to miss the knock on the door from maintenance. No one ever came. I checked out at 9:15 and still no one had come. When I go to check out, the front desk staff informed me that "whoever answered my call should have told me that maintenance doesn't arrive until 9:00". No, ma'am. SOMEONE (anyone) should have been sent to my room with a plunger right away! I stayed here because I travel to this town for work often, and normally stay at Hilton properties. I was told by a colleague that this hotel was nicer than the Hampton so I decided to try it out. I was wrong.
If your not going to go swimming or use the stairs is recommend this hotel.
The star rating should be more! Clean spacious rooms with friendly staff!

Upon check-in, I arrived to my room to find the door propped open with a trash can. All doors and cabinets were opened, but the room appeared clean. I left my luggage in the room but took my laptop downstairs to start on some work while they complete my room. I stopped by the front desk to let the staff know my room was incomplete. The manager came out to assure me the room was clean, but that someone hadn't completed the final walk through. Ok, that's what I assumed, but I was surprised when I was sent back
Nice clean rooms. Modern look. Smells like what I imagine a fairly new conference center smells like...probably because this place looks still fairly new. They have friendly staff and fresh cookies.

The pool seems to have WAY too much chlorine. You can smell it the second you walk into the hotel lobby. We had a few friends come to visit, so we went to the pool/spa room and we didn't stay long at all bc the chlorine was burning our eyes and the kids' eyes.
This place is pretty nice & well kept for the price. The only complaints I have are about the staircases missing carpet on a few steps on one side & the other staircase is completely ripped up. (But there is a sign saying so on that end)
